Guitars! (Now on mp3 player)

I'm beginning to realise that my blogs are never going to pick up in frequency while I'm writing them on the home computer. Its hard to find enough time to just write to my hearts content about whatever with them watching TV in the background. So I'm making it priority one to get my laptop fixed now.

Uh oh

Okay so it would seem I let the blog slip behind a little. But not to worry I'll have loads to blog about soon :) The Ham Beast is back so many adventures will be had trying to slay the demon whore. Anyway I've been messing around on guitar again for the first time in about 4-5 years and recording stuff on my mp3 player in case i forget it a few weeks down the line. Nothing near complete or finished.

So back to the music... This first track is a cover
I recorded of aRadiohead song in 2006. It was actually
just a warm up before doing an original recording,
what that was I do not know. Anyway the song is
Gagging Order and it has some funky tuning that
sounds fantastical, and is a lot of fun to play!
Shame my voice sounds so weak. I don't think its
wise to attempt to sing a song with Thom Yorke
vocals, not with my range.

Musical Past

Rachels gone away :( For 6 weeks. I dunno what I'm gonna do to pass the time but at least I have work to help. Oh yeah thats right, I got a job workign in citywest shopping centre. Tis a pretty handy job and i'm only working part time so the days fly in. My laptop died again which has resulted in irregular updates to this blog, but not to worry, with Rachel gone to germany for the next month and a half, I'm more motivated to blog about things. So she, being my only subscriber/viewer I can keep her informed about my life, in case she grows suspicious of the large amounts of hookers I have lined up for while she's away.

Vajazzle

I'm here today to talk about Vajazzle. I recently learned about this and I'm stunned. The things that come in and out of fashion have always been confusing to me, some things that just seem plain retarded to me seem genius to most other people. For example, entertainment and media outlets for over a decade, as well as fashionistas, mocked the 80's and how ridiculous everyone looked etc... and now it's back in fashion and nobody dares mention the days when it seemed ridiculous. It's like people are afraid to go against popular opinion or just prefer to go with the flow of things. I guess sometimes fitting in and popularity are more important to some people than individuality or making your own opinions or judgements.

Kind of went off the point there, I feel very out of touch with my generation... Sometimes I feel I belong with the other grouches on Grumpy old men. So! Back to the point. Vajazzle.

Strange Things happen

Had the weirdest dream last night and I woke up with a lot of mixed feelings. Hilarity, confusion, excitement and that horrible feeling that someone you love may be betraying you (with a FFM threesome in some weird orgy room). It was strange to feel all that at once and for a while it didn't seem like a dream at all when I woke up. I even got puked on in what I thought was the perfect hiding space from an abusive drunk. Go dreams GO! Strangely I can see how everything in this dream makes sense or relates to stuff currently going on in my life.

What's the story, what's the craic?

Day 1 of a 3 day shoot on a music video for Solo Thang's "All I Need". I got greg to take a picture of me with a Glee cardboard cut out cos I know Rachel would have loved to have been there to pose with it, so hopefully she likes the picture of me and one of her favourite Glee stars (The teacher guy... whats his name!) There's also something beautiful about standing in an empty town house room, the smell of death and rich kids legal highs in the air, as you watch the upper class do their shopping through the window.

Freakin weekend

Friday! What can I say about Friday? Not much... Myself, herself, himself and himself too were in a house watching The Mighty Boosh. Not too eventful. But it happened. And Saturday night was a house warming party in god damn clonsilla. Its pretty far out there if you're coming from Rathcoole.

Had a great saturday night! Went to a 21st for Rachels cousin Stephen. Not much memories of it because I got pretty wasted. But I just discovered as I was typing this that I got up and danced... so yeah I was pretty DRUNK! Had a fun weekend with Rachel :D Even though she puked in my bed :P

Painted five Orks the other day in Gers. Pictures of those below. Not much else really going on. But I'll definitely have stuff to talk about soon enough here! So it's a short one!

Friday night my parents went to a 21st in west meath. So me and Rachel Hambeast chilled in mine and had a joint and watched... some film. What film was it again? I don't recall... Oh it was it was like that one scene in fight club, where he's been squeezed between bobs massive girth! What a great film!

Saturday we watched lost (the one i'd seen already) and we also watched Jarhead. Saturday night we where going to haymers with my Dodgy-Box. Ste and ally where there too. We planned to watch the UFC fight that night on Setanta Sports 2. But haymer's tv was broken and we couldn't get it plugged in. So he brought down the one from his room and we got it hooked up. Only for another problem to emerge.

The D-box wasn't picking up any channels, a few failed service scans later eventually we got channels. HAPPY DAYS! But of course wouldn't you know it, Setanta Sports 2 wouldn't work. So for two hours we kept trying only to fail each time. So we decided to watch some random show on sci fi called "Stingray". They found a tribe of three cavemen living in a cave deep under the ocean, seperated form the rest of the world for Millenia, and worshipping a radioactive canister they found. Now heres the question...

How is it that a tribe of cavemen have survived under the water so long? And how did they live on through reproduction when there was no women? Why was there cave paintings of them hunting animals they couldnt possibly hunt under water? Where did they get their lion cloths from? THIS DOESNT MAKE ANY SENSE! Still, what a cool freakin show to watch stoned and drunk!

Saw a dead dog on the side of the carriage way before we got to haymers, after esso. Was very

unsettling and I'd like to shake the image from my head, but sadly it stays. Haymer bought these 20 silk cut slim things, there were tiny, bout the size of the tubes filter's for rollies come in, but a little longer. Don't remember there exact name, I know Silk Cut Slims are a different smoke of regular size... So I can't find a damn picture of the things. Needless to say they tasted crappy and made your hands look huge! Ste loved em... FAG!

Rachel left a few hours ago. I cut the grass and the dog found a frog. No weed... And very bored. Don't know what to do with the last of my break from college before the sunday ends. I'd love a joint though, just cos its such a lovely day. A nice pint and a joint in the fun sun. That'd be poifect! A new message from the sounds coming from my headphones...

Last night was cool. Got the bus from chapelizod to town, and then from town home. Been back a good while and been talkin to my mom, only saw my reflection a minute ago and i still have lipstick drool and grease on my cheek. Haha. Damn you Rachel Cunt face!

Rachel Hambeast asked me on the weekend what my favourite word was. In any language. So I thought about it for a while... And thought about it some more. And it came to me. The word I like the most is a combination of two not so swell words.

Windmill.

I just like how it sounds. I don't even like windmills. Just the word. The house we where in was HUGE! But wreaked

of late 80's early 90's interior decoration. Me and Ray got our own room and all. Bed was nice. But then Rachel Hambeast went to college devour a small village in the morning and I was all alone! :( finally free of her bullshit

She'll be here later :D :( And my family are goin out tonight so we'll have the place to ourselves! I'll have nobody to protect me.. HOOWAY! Need to make plans for something to do! a hiding place.

Gary has invited myself and Rachel to party it up in his girlfriends house. We met her once or twice. Me and Rachel are gonna get absolutely mashed and dronk and point and laugh at everything! We're gonna be Joaquin Phoenix Faux-Nervous-Breakdown-Rapper wasted!

Watched Lost. It was alright... I think the only thing noteworthy was the ending. Which makes the next episode even harder to wait for.

Even worse than that is it will be two weeks until the next episode. GOD DAMN! And I guess I got my info wrong... It was a Miles-centric episode. Was pretty good.

Also Hurley... Ewoks... Empire Strikes Back... PURE GENIUS! I fuckin LOVE Hurley. Also one of my theories was right! About Miles, ever since I seen his nose bleed second after Charlotte, I knew he had to have been on the Island before. And I knew exactly how this could have been. This episode just set my assumptions in stone.

I know Rachel will be angry that I've watched it. But I just couldn't help it. Moving on... Max Payne the movie is SHIT. So shit I'm downloading the original game just so I can experience how good the story actually is, unlike that joke of a movie. I thought it would be great. Mark Wahlberg is always AMAZING in films! But no... such was not the case. DAMN YOU!

Yesterday I cleaned my room for the first time in months. Now don't get me wrong, I clean my room every 2-3 days. But when I say I cleaned it yesterday, I mean I cleared out all the junk that accumulated on my desk or my shelves or in drawers in my wardrobe and re-arranged a little.

I was annoyed with how little space I had for everything, My TV was in the way of my record player so I hadn't played any in a long time. So I decided

a little bit of space clearing and moving stuff about, and I'd have plenty o

f space for all my schtuff.

Once I'd cleared my desk and my record player was reachable, I decided to spin the black circle and listen to some good tunes while I finished the rest of my room. What I found inside shocked, surprised and made my day. I found 250 euro in my record player!

I was over the moon, I'd gone from a man with just 20 euro in his pocket to someone with an extra 250, a gift from the vinyl gods no doubt. But of course this high was shattered soon after when I came upon the knowledge that I myself had put the money there, last Saturday (a day I don't remember much due to been plastered) and that it was Rachel's Cunt Features 250 for her Oxegen tickets her daily feeding, it takes a small village in Uzbekistan just to cook everything before she goes on a murderous rampage, devouring small animals and children unfortunate enough to cross the path of the Ham Beast  

Lets just say the buzz wasn't just killed, it was mutilated, skinned alive and then hung up on my walls to mock me. Rachel Ham Beast wasn't to blame for this though, it was my own idiocy and my fault for assuming this 250 was mine and getting excited about it.

Later that night....

I decided to watch the leaked HD near-final cut of X-Men origins: Wolverine. The one that was leaked online on march 31st, well over a month before it's theatrical release. I think I may actually enjoy this version more than the one people will be seeing in cinemas, because alot of the special effects weren't present, gun fire and blood splats were missing, sometimes wire's were visible on people as they jumped, claws didn't extend when meant to, green screen was very noticeable and the ten minutes of pick up shots done in January are also apparently missing from this cut.

Zero reloading guns as they fall onto the clips, guns are cg and all that is visible is an image of two guns behind his hnds.

Someone gets hit by a LOG truck, then it cuts to an early CG model tumbling down the back of it.

Some scenes even had full CG one minute, and then the next shot, nothing. As you'll see below.

Also Liev Schrieber is BRILLIANT as Sabre-tooth. His presense on camera is just terrifying.

But it was a great learning experience for me, to see what an editor has to work with when he's cutting the film together but not having the final SFX to work with, just badly rendered mock ups, or sometimes even just pictures or words placed over where the CG should have been implemented.

I thought the film was pretty good, a few weak points in the plot here and there, but as long as your expectations aren't at ridiculous unachievable levels, I'm sure you will enjoy this one. Better than that joke of a third xmen movie.

The NTL man came today. My brothers room, my moms room, and the sitting room all have ntl digi+ now. And I'm taking the Dodgey Box into my room! RESULT!

Also now that my brother and mom have access points in their rooms, there wont be a bunch of wires and an extension lead at the end of my bed going from my access point and been divided into their rooms. You can't begin to imagine how annoying having a mess of wires that served no purpose to me

at all can be. Anytime my foot would hit off the extension lead, or I moved too much in my bed, It would normally knock out the cable, and I'd have my brother or my mom or dad, shouting in to fix it. Fix something that really isn't my responsibility in the first place.

Going to Rachel's tonight to watch Lost. I have it downloaded and all, now I just have to fight the urge to watch it until tonight and things should be good. I don't think I've looked forward to a Lost episode this much in a long time.

Reason being, it's a Ben-centric episode.

Last time we had one of those we found out alot about his past, the purge, etc. I'm hoping we get the same amount of new information in this one, like Ben's time spent with the others while still living with the dharma, or his relationship with Charles or even Alex. I'd like to see Alex again. She got shot in the head. That wasn't very cool at all. Took this image from the TV ad for the new episode. Made the background unrecognisible, in case someone thinks the location is a spoiler. And if he's pointing that gun at who I think he is, then my assumption from all them episodes ago (When they first board Ajira flight 316) could be right. I think ben does kill penny. Of course, we'll have to wait and see tonight. That's another reason this episode is gonna be brillo pads! ANSWERS!

Photomagraphy

So I watched soylent green. Never seen it before, and its a shame that id already known that
Soylent Green is People before watching it.

So anyways I got up at Half six. And had a shower so I was all cleaned and stuff! YAY!
Got on my bus at half seven after making myself a yummy breaky and listene to music
and text all the other early rising people i knew.

Walked to college from kylemore and I was in the art Building today for it was
the mighty tuesday, the day I have Photography!
I got some coffee, I was the first of my class in so I sat there sipping away.
Then Ann-Marie and Tunde showed up. Followed by emma and then eventually
everyone else. Erm, yeah so I was printing today since I already had a roll Developed
from last term. I printed out all the pretty pictures and that was it really,

But its a fun rewarding experience developing and printing yr own black and whites.
Id forgotten about a picture I'd taken.
In macdonalds on kylemore, two months back or so.
This school teen with the typical trendy scummer hair had fallin asleep on the table.
Next to his curly fries. So I took a picture for hilarity sake, but when I looked at the negative today
I couldnt recall it, until I blew it up and realised waht the photo was.
And It actually came out really well. Cos theres some cool stuff going on in the background too!
I like it anyways. So I printed tha off, but I had no filters so its kinda grey. Not true black. So I'll probably
Print it off again next week once I buy filters.

I done about 4-5 prints and then left around 11-ish. Bought a new b+w roll of film and loaded up the
oul picture snapper. And went in to town to get foods. Took 1 or 2 photos and then got on my bus.
I'll probs bring me camjra out everyday this week in case I see something photomagraphic!

Got hom around 1. Which was nice. ate food then fell asleep for a lil while. Well till half 8. So a LOTTLE while.
And I've just been randomly on the internet since. Talkin to friendlies and going on to websites.
Watchin stuff and so on. The usual junkerie. I'll probably try get an early night tonight. Its already One o clock.
I have editing in the morning. Hopefully we actually do something entertaining. If not I'm bailin early!

Last night and Today!

Okay so last night was awesome!

Went to Gers and then got wasted.
Got the bus to town and went to Dorans.
Mt up with rachel Saggybaps Galore  and we got drunker! Everyone was there!
And they were all nuts and crazy and drunky :D

Even my brother and sister came over for a while,
with my cousins form england and from longford!

WOOOO!

So we got drunk and i was too lazy to go back to mine


So we got a room in a hotel. It was cool.
Much nicer than the last time we stayed there!
Rachel Saggybaps Galore got all protective of me stuffed her pie-hole! was cute vomit inducing :)

I got lotsa lovely subway! When we woke up rachel Saggybaps Galore was looking like she was going to murder me!
I love when shes playful in the morning had to kick her in the teeth and try fix her crooked smile :D

But yeah it was a great night full of drunkeness, but a horrible hang over followed.
So bad.
Two and a half men is on... Ive never watched it. I really dont see the appeal.
Hopefully somthing good will come on! :)

Went I got home ben Ibhonn called around from her Jog (with a soft J)
And we went up to hers and bens house and we listened to music
and played some guitar and watched stupid things.

When I got home I wnt to gers and we just sat around playing vijo gayums!

Oh yeah havent watched this in years! Finally found out what the name of the band
in the video. Its a danish singer called Tommy Seebach! Hilarious shit!
