You can think about a lot of things in the short time it takes for a bus to complete its journey, which can be a good thing or a bad thing depending on your mood. Its surprising the amount you can get done just sitting there staring out the window as existence flies by. I would have to say my mood is quite thoughtful today and i seem to be looking forward more so than usual, preparing myself for the multiple outcomes the next few months will bestow.
Got my laptop back 5 months after it was sent off for repair. They had fixed it in a week but I had been constantly putting it to the back of my mind until I'd just stopped thinking about it. I got a call not long ago saying it would be destroyed unless I pay the ransom and so here I am typing on it once again. It's still a little bit banjoed and I have to make use with a usb mouse for a short time but its good to catch up on lost time. I've been on somewhat of an Internet feeding frenzy since Saturday and there is no end in sight anytime soon. Which brings me to Google Chrome...
Chromes come a long way since I last had constant connection to the matrix. It had only been out a short while when I last used it but one of the things I wanted most for it was plug ins and add-ons that had been features to Web Browsers for years. And I'm experiencing Chromes answer to Plug-ins right now.
Extensions!
I got a Face book one so I can check my wall and post to it no matter where I'm browsing, and right now I'm using one for my blogger called Zemanta. It analyses everything I type and lets me quickly link to sites of my choosing by searching keywords. If I type an artist like Lady Gaga or something like Tim Burton's "Alice In Wonderland" in 3D something fantastical should happen I hope. All I've done is typed the text, so with some easy clicks I'll end up with more than text. This blog is a test. Sort of.
